Winter Flocks 2016

Filmed on assignment for the RSPB, Barnacle Geese migrating from Svalbard landing in Scotland over winter and the wader flocks at Snettisham. The latter involved burying myself in an underground hide excavated into a shingle bank so as to achieve close up and eye line shots of the waders.

Adapting Anolis

A mixture of long lens and macro filming in both the wild and in sets helped bring the incredible story of Cuba's Anolis lizard to life. Filmed as the final filming project for an MA in Wildlife Documentary Production from the University of Salford, the film received a distinction.

Wallasea Island Wild Coast 

Timelapses filmed on Nikon D200, Sony FS7, Arri Amira, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, and Blackmagic Cinema Camera. Required careful co-ordination of multi camera setups for timelapses of the tide coming in.

Help a Ranger Save a Rhino

Filmed for Save the Rhino's 2014 Appeal in Hluhluwe - Imfolozi game reserve the shoot involved directing and shooting in the field using a variety of camera kit including sliders. The film helped raise over £30,000.

Wye + Usk Foundation Film

EA English River Prize nomination film. Filming to final delivery in 5 days culminating in a dubbing mixing session at Films@59. 

Showreel 2015/16

Shots from various wildlife shoots from a number of different UK locations e.g. Blakeney Point, Islay, Perthshire and also Africa including Senegal and Kenya. Filmed using a variety of camera kit but predominantly on an Arri Amira and Sony FS7.

Rhino Dog Squad

Filmed for Save the Rhino's 2015 appeal, the film helped raise just under £61,000 for rhino conservation in Kenya, specifically to the dog squads that help protect and conserve Kenya's rhinos. The shoot involved directing large groups of Kenyan rangers in various scenarios including dog handling, patrolling and aircraft flying. 

RSPB Turbine Timelapse

Nikon D200, Canon 5D Mrkii and Sony FS7 time studies and time lapses of the turbine being constructed. Pick ups on the Arri Amira. Required careful planning of the time study post locations in order to achieve full turbine height in frame. 

The Economist

One day shoot and two day edit for The Economist's Intelligent Life Magazine. Quick shots and fast decisions to make the most of the rising sunlight on top of the mountain culminating in a sit down interview.
