In 2021 I went to Ecuador to capture a new to science behaviour. The way in which the Club Winged Manakin uses their wings to produce their high pitched call. This required the Phantom 4k Flex with a high speed light to capture these wing stridulations at 800fps. The result was never before seen slow mo footage of the specific mechanism behind the call. No one had witnessed in detail this exact mechanism before myself so seeing this down my camera viewfinder when playing back the footage was a career highlight for me!
