The highlight from this series has to be filming Crocodiles jumping to catch Southern Carmine Bee Eaters.
It was a never before captured behaviour.
It took 2 weeks of waiting in a hide for 8 hours a day surrounded by crocs and hippos to get the shot. It wasn’t until the last hour on the last day as the sun was almost setting did I get the shots! An unforgettable moment and I don’t think I’ve felt relief like it!
The full story of my shoot is lucky enough to be featured in the BBC Perfect Planet book as well as in depth descriptions of my other shoots.
